HELP US SERVE

2005 brought a world of blessings to the Tennessee center. Though some improvements are still in the offing, many of our lamas' plans for our regional retreat facility, Padma Gochen Ling, were realized last year, thanks to generous donations from our community. A big highlight was the opening of the Sangha House, which offers retreatants a dining hall, book store, and two retreat rooms.

In addition, the Yeshe Tsogyal House, the new urban center for PBC-Tennessee, was purchased, again thanks to contributions from many in our community. Since opening its doors in October 2005, there has been a surge not only in attendance and membership, but also a new level of well-being for all of those who have already been walking the path.

STILL, THERE IS MORE

Our lamas' unflinching goal to serve all beings presents us all with the opportunity to further fuel the noble ambitions of our beloved teachers. Under their steerage, much has been accomplished, but there are still many improvements that will add more petals to the blossoming lotus that is PBC-Tennessee.

Both Padma Gochen Ling and Yeshe Tsogyal House need further funding to advance to the next exciting stage of manifesting our teachers' vision.

Therefore we would appreciate your assistance in helping us serve our teachers and the Dharma.

How to Contribute

Now there are a number of ways to contribute-- credit card and bank draft capabilities have recently been added, along with in-kind and stocks and property.
Credit card and bank draft donations can be made monthly or quarterly as well as on a one-time basis. Most options give you membership for at least one year, but if you aren't able to make a membership-level contribution, any amount is greatly appreciated.

Wish List for Retreat
There are several appliances and other items that we need for the upcoming Summer Retreat. Please see this page.

Stocks or Property
Another common way of giving is to give stocks or property. The tax basis of these kinds of donations is a little trickier and should be discussed with your accountant, but they can be an effective means of tax avoidance.

Dedications or Special Instructions
We are open to dedications and special instructions concerning your donation. However, unless you specify otherwise, gifts will go to the Jewel Campaign.
